Unfortunately, in front of a rowdy sellout crowd of 7,858 foam-fingered finatics, the home team floundered as the Red Star Gunners cruised to a 106-84 victory, improving to 2-0, while the Sharks slinked to 0-2 and began googling “how to bounce back with dignity.”
Sharks guard Dymtro Damin gave fans something to cheer for, reeling in 19 points. But it wasn’t enough to outduel Ronnie Cardenas, whose 23 points, rebound, assist, and block earned him the Player of the Game.
