Pandesal Eliminated from National Tournament After Loss to CB Bethesdorf

Bethesdorf Arena, Attendance: 14,047 – Pandesal’s National Tournament run came to an end on Thursday night as they fell 107–87 to a fast-paced CB Bethesdorf squad. Despite the defeat, Pandesal’s season continues with their campaign in the BuzzerBeater Madness (BBM) tournament still alive.

Bethesdorf’s Run and Gun offense proved decisive, especially in the second quarter when they erupted for 37 points to break the game open. Pandesal, running a Princeton offense, fought back late, winning the fourth quarter 31–24, but the early deficit proved too steep to overcome.

Top Performers for Pandesal

Devin Graham (SF) – Game-high 30 points, 11 rebounds, five three-pointers.

Luka Milijaš (SG) – 19 points on 3–6 shooting from deep, 4 assists.

Terry Wilczynski (PG) – 12 points, 4 assists, steady ball control.

Bench contributions were key to keeping the score respectable, with Rene Inocencio adding 8 points and Mario Cormier going a perfect 2–2 from deep in limited minutes.

Pandesal matched Bethesdorf in total rebounds (47) but allowed 19 offensive boards, leading to crucial second-chance points for the home team. Defensively, the squad forced 10 turnovers but couldn’t slow down Bethesdorf’s balanced scoring attack, which had five players in double figures.

Coach’s Reaction:
"We’re disappointed to exit the National Tournament, but we’ll take lessons from this game. The fight our guys showed in the fourth quarter is exactly the energy we’ll bring into BBM," said the Pandesal head coach.
