After a tough first season in III.8, the Clown Cafe players feel lucky that they are able to stay in Div. III for another season. "We were only trying to keep the game close," backup center Michael Moore said, "we were beyond thrilled when we pulled the upset and got the third seed."
That third seed, however, ended up being a total shellacking against the Atlantis Tigers. "We wish we had played them better," Akos Ilovszky said through a Hungarian interpreter, "however, our play against UD Crusaders was worse for us than being out all night partying before the game. However, it had to be done."
The team's one goal for next season is to work more on perimeter defense, and stay in the top four as well.
