The Wooden Warriors management, staff and players are having the most enjoyable week on months! Of course that is because they don't have to continually watch themselves get trampled by their opponents.
Ownership has decided to allow most of the current roster stay for the demotion. While the hope is that the Warriors can bounce back in one season, and only lose a few hundred thousand, it will depend on the luck of the draw and how fans ultimately react that will be key. There are many DIV teams that are very capable of spoiling our lofty plans.
Insiders have indicated that recent acquisition of RJ, and potential sale of Aviad, make the development plan for the next couple seasons rather obvious. The coaching staff continues to feel that Freddy could be interesting . . . and they will admit that he doesn't suck any more. But to be fair, he ain't that good either. Whether he can be Mark Eaton of Buzzerbeater remains to be seen. The scouting department has leaked that they are not feeling confident about grabbing a player that will make much of a difference in the draft this year. There appear to only be 3 players of high caliber, and we have the 4th draft pick.
