After a short one season stint in III, Zoblins are promoting to II! What a whirlwind of a season, from acquiring Costa Rica NT star, Walter Eliz at the beginning of the season, Lee Rhodes being appointed to the USA U21 team, acquiring Gismar Gaudy right before the playoffs, and a Masita Bin Anwar Playoff master class + him being called up to the Indonesia National Team. Story book season.
Masita was found in the Skinny Dudes locker room bathroom re performing the iconic Kobe championship photos after he was named the unanimous finals MVP. After his 34, 25, and 36 point performances. Zoblins are in great hands as long as he has the keys to the team.
Coach Zillr also deserves his flowers for an absolute entire playoff strategic master class, the entire playoff the Zoblins left teams guessing on their strategic tactics, attacking the opposite of what most opponents expected, all the while conserving game shape for the critical finals. While the Zoblins were able to play TIE each playoff game until the TB, Skinny Dudes burned a CT in the semi finals vs a phenomenal Blue Ocean team (thank God I don’t have to stay here and deal with them) this opened the door to playing playoff normal game 1, knowing the Zoblins would likely lose (which ended up being quite the barn burner I may add), game two, Skinny Dudes would be forced to playoff normal if they wanted a chance in game 3 & they did which led to an uneventful game 2, but having 2x (or more) enthusiasm in the third game, along with attacking their outside defense while they sat in a 2/3 terrified of Masita, Eliz, and Gaudys Inside scoring led to an emotional, intense game 3 where the Zoblins came out on top!
