This season was also an incredible season, with interestings up and downs. Now, before the last regular-season game, we can say that our season is done. Because we play away against the best team in our conference, Jibou NRG, who will probably win the title this season. We know that they are our rivals and the game is televised, but they are in another situation than we are, they are on another level than we are.
In this moment, we are in a new but old situation, like last season. Even though we have more victories and have chances to catch the playoffs, there is also a chance to finish 5th. But the situation we talked about is about our finances. It will be hard to survive if we don't catch the playoffs!
To recover some money, we decided to put three players on the transfer list. Those three are the oldest players that we have; their contracts will not be extended.
After these three players are sold, maybe we need to sell the fourth player too. We will see. It depends on what offers we receive for them.
Anyway, we will follow the last games of our conference. Our survival depends on the other results too; there are two scenarios. But one of these two is to win against Jibou NRG, but this chance can happen only if they protect their starters from their perspective for the playoffs. Funny, but if this scenario happens, they will probably play the playoffs against us! We say probably, because if star4ever loses to The Defenders, we will finish 3rd!!! Crazy!
But we expect the other scenario more, where we lose Saturday. We are not curious what star4ever will do, but Cluj-Napoca Kingfishers. After losing to us, they managed to win both games. Very, very important for them was that BuzzerBeater in the last second of the game against The Defenders. That Buzzerbeater keeps them alive for the playoffs. The last game against Ares United will be very important. We hope Ares United will win!
We will see what the fate will bring us!
