New addition of the V.41 forum

Game Night Review

1. Coal Miners

Coal Miners start the regular season like they ended it. Reigning MVP Cristóbal Sacristan Roy took a sideline to Hammons tonight as Hammons' 20 points sparked the Miners to a 29 point win against the Playbozzz. Rancan and Iturraspe scored 16 and 17 pts respectively. CSR did not lead the team to this victory however did post a double-double.

2. Bollingbrook Tigers

The Tigers trailed early in this game and finished strong on the shoulders of Goetzke. Down at the half Goetzke score 18 pts to turn the game around. Yufa, Jackson, and Goetzke have been keep them in the Tigers in the top 4 and that has not change is season.

3. Jet Life

Canaves had a masterful PG performance as he scored 31 pts while dishing out 5 assist. Thomas Kelly and Daniel Bladgård were good enough to hold off Macintoshs. Jet Life ended the game with a 10 pt lead.

4. Philadelphia Eagles

Tied at 100-100 with 5 sec. on the clock Clementino D´aremberg pulled up for a jumpshot as the Eagles escape regulation and stole one against Tenn. Stallions . Murray Ridley seemed disappoint after sitting on the bench the entire game. Andrzej Nasiadka led the Eagles with 35 points and had 4 assist as well as 4 turnovers.

5. Ballkiller94

Ballkillers lead the Big 8 with 25 victory margin and V.41 ROY Bryant Kelly returning with a 15 pts 8 rebs and 8 assists. He is the most complete player I've see in V.41. Kerns was 5-5 in three pointers and but the team face a club that has numerous
ways to improve.

6. Marshalls

The Marshalls front court presence was in full effect as PG Chris Smith and SG Peter Salinas 23 and 21 respectively. They preformed well on defense also combining for 7 steals and 2 blocks. It was a good showing from everyone on the team.

7.Tenn. Stallion

Although the Stallions did not land in the win column they have been a thrill to watch. If the game went into overtime Stallions were the clear victors. I personally don't think I should of put Stallion at the seven spot but this is just a review of the performance they gave.

8. opelouasa boyzz

Opeluasa boyz only put up 77 pts and it was enough for a win against WHS that just got here 2 hours before the games kicked off. 19 year old Donnell Lester lead the team in wat seems to be what might be it's only win if they don't improve. They win give them a 11 pt win margin good enough for second in the Big 8.

Nov 8 Game Night Review

1. Coal Miners

Coal Miners have again the best performance as the dust settles. Jet Life were quickly overwhelmed by the force that is the Colver Mines and were held to 6 in the first quarter. Coal Miners' Cristóbal Sacristan Roy takes a backseat to Hammons again . When asked about the recent declined CSR said," I'm taking it easy and waiting to play the Tigers, Stallion, or Eagles. I 'm reserving my strong for when I'm need no decline just knowledge and experience in work."

2. Bollingbrook Tigers

The Tigers had a strong showing at home. Yufa and Jackson scored 24 pts each against a young Playbozzz. Goetzke had a disappointing game today as he exploded for 32 in the first game but barely gets a double-double tonight.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are the Warriors of V.41. They don't play defense but can win games thanks to their guards with "Phenomenal" jump shot ability. They are truly a wonder to play but gameshape will kill them. They will be #1 in the Big 8 until they have to play inter-conference games.

4. Tenn. Stallion

Stallions cut it even as they defeat Ballkiller94 tonight. Gerald Nault averages 25.5 pts this week as he and Stephen Yates lead the Stallion to a 99-79 victory. Murray Ridley had 15 in the win and has said his good-byes to his companions and looks for to the new team and will remember the time he had in V.41.

5. Ballkiller94

Ballkillers lead the Big 8 with 25 victory margin but now drops down on poles. Playing against the Stallion they got their closest in franchise history. They can be a great threat next season to the #1 team if they stay and improve on their young talent. Titus Postma averaged 21 pts and 7 rebs this week.

6. WWIAFTM

The Tube Men come away with a 20 pt victory. Boško Zekovic showed he can play with a great double-double. Kent Slininger was unselfish with 7 assist. They drop the game against Bollingbrook but show they are talented.

7.Macintosh

Three players broke into the 20s as they defeat the Marshalls. They should be in the playoff this season but will see what happens this season. Barkus Komskis has fire power and is not afraid to use it.

8. Marshalls

Marshall Isaías Cereixas tried to hold off Macintosh but were unable. Marshall has only Cereixas and the result is a lose in the oppenent's favor. Marshall is ok but need more quality players.

11/13/11 Week 2 Power Ranking:
Well what a start to the season close league games double OT

1.(1) Coal Miners

The Miners are one of the remaining undefeated team and are favorites to go 22-0 through the Season. They've been consistent at scoring the rock avg.110+ a game. They massacred A young Marshalls' team. The get a bit of a test at home against the "Wacky Pack". CRS has been overshadow so far but has been a great contributor posting double-doubles in all league games so far.

2.(4) Philadelphia Eagles

This team is somewhat a surprise being they do not play any perimeter defense. They are the only young team I've seen to use their start-up money to get great players for less than any team I've see in V.41.Still no Vick, but Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin on the wings. Erik Davis is a great PF and should give Cristóbal Sacristan Roy a run for his money in the MVP race and All-star game.

3.(3) Bollingbrook Tigers
After a season of infrequent log-ins the Tiger are disbanding. Matthew Jackson, Yu Yufa, and Fredericus Goetzke have been released and are not likely going to grace a V.41 court. Quique Suárez is still in the roster but will have some offensive power. He is currently avg. 13.7 ppg.

4.(2) Tenn. Stallions

In his departure game, Murray Ridley posted a double-double as the Stallions trample Opelouasa Boyzz 87-32 . Stan Cyr show his potential with 25 pts and 27 boards. Stallions allowed the Opelouasa Boyzz to a FG of 15%.

5.(5) WWIAFTM

A team that has really come into their own. Wacky only lose is to the Tigers and they are now easily second in the Great 8. Boško Zekovic and Kent Slininger have contributed to the offense in a big way.He has really produced lately avg. 17 pts and 14 boards a game. Kent Slininger has also been on fire as he helps opens the middle as he works the perimeter for 16 a game.

6.(8) BallKIllers94

BallKIllers94 have a gobs of potential but the team is in fear of going inactive. The team preformanced nicely in a lose against the Stallion. They give the Flightbrothers a bruising to follow up the lose. The 33 pt game is their 3rd largest victory margin.

7.(N/A) macintosh

Usual the wing man Ifet Rešilbegović has taken a backseat to Mikhail Kochanov. Mikhail Kochanov is their best score and thsi team is young. The probably with young teams are they don't last or do not train to win so they fail. The team can't improve until their is a set training group unless they use the TL.

8.(6) Jet Life

Thomas Kelly come through with a 22 and 14 and Daniel Bladgård drops 18 in a close game against Bollingbrook. The play of their guards have been superb. Canaves does a good job at PG and Bladgård is an excellent SG. Kelly fills up the middle and pulls down board they can be deadly with a manager.

Game of the Week: Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men vs. Coal Miners @ Colver Mines

WWIAFTM are getting the tough game out the way early. The Coal Miners are the best in the Great 8 and Wacky knows that. They hope the Miners get a big head and let them get ahead early so they can steal one. The match-up to watch in this one has to be Boško Zekovic and Cristóbal Sacristan Roy.

Just have to say its sad to see the Tigers go bot, they had so much potiential and could have made it far with a proper manager.
