Hi

on the box and one defensive tactics, which player is the player that guards the opponnent best scorer? is that the player that assigned on him (if the best scorer is C my C will guard him) or is it the player with the highest ID or somebody else?

I really wish i know the answer to this question. Sadly very little is known about these defenses.

I agree. My working theory is that an inside box and 1 takes the best inside defender from the PG, SG or SF position and outside takes the best outside defender from SF, PF and C. But that's only because that seems to match up with my limited experience with it and is almost certainly as wrong as anything else.

I play it sometimes.. I lost for the 2nd time using out of 3 trys. 1-3 with it . I think its suppose to take your best defender and put in on there best interior player and trap the passes lanes.. I think its a look inside stopper.. I just dont have right skills and rebounds and don't know what the proper offense to run with it to make it even more effective

Im not sure 100% since ive only won 1 time but I you need the right skills and exp to run that effectively also a strong bench.. I had some ok success with it in games, I just didn't have the rebounds in my favor. My last game is a poor example but I think did well to lose by 20+ or so versus the ranked 25 team in the country in usa.. I don't know for sure but he might have played his bench hahaha.. I think if had a better bench and rebound sin my favor it would've been alot closer. I knew he was going to look inside, so I tried to run something that used the clock on the offensive end.

I am also curious about if this zone will be similarly affected by the changes to shot blocking behavior in the 2-3 zone after the All-Star break.

yes I saw that and that is where the problem lies, I want to know is LOok inside what kind of pace offense ? does this depend"s on your players? because if you bring up the pace in the game, going in the paint will be effectivenot in reality unless its a high pace..

This is why im saying it not possible for look inside to beat run and gun and afast pace offenses just because a big man has good scoring. This all depends on game shape and stamina in reality.. If the other team stamina is better and faster getting to ft line would be about equal.. The starter have to came out and rest and this where bench come in to play and I think the faster offense should win in the defensive setting of box one inside, because of guard play of the offence

Im playing games where my shooter are 3-4 slots higher in shooting from 3pt line and the field and still lose. Just because they picked look inside and 1 strong scorer the defense don't matter.. its laughable at best. Gurd play should count for something in the game versus a inside team. Almost like the game has tone down paintent and increase look inside.. Its laughbale to even phathom what you need on the team vs look inside

Also this what s what I was talking about with you before., how many teams have good inside defender as guard well as well as outside in guards..

Im making more than them about 60-90K more than them.. a lot players are new on the team .. I need to find some a pf and center..
