Very winnable worlds . I am very excited about this hire we made. The good ole national team runs is coming back to life. Very excited about this new era. You can be something special and we all support you in every way possible.

I applaude the enthusiasm. Thing is there never really has been a "good ole national team " more like a "same old same old" as even though we produce good solid teams we have always been just behind nations with a more committed infrastructure. Now with the BOB we might be able to play above ourselves and not just control the americas but to maybe throw a scare or two into the more established powers. But the NT community must become more proactive in getting the word out to the rank and file.

I believe the Magiker run and E.B.W run was the closes thing we could get to a dominant performance. I agree with this. But sadly many people still think we are at the top of the power structure because buzzerbeater gives us easy paths and a high ranking. This is also why we need to look long term here.

Since we are in a lull already with a bye week, I'm going to take some time to introduce some of our players, for those who are not familiar with America's Team. First up is PG Andy Hernandez and SF Myles Crocker:

Andy Hernandez (35115232)
Andy is currently our most experienced player entering his 6th season with the NT. Known for being a sadistic SOB, he frequently hazes the newbs, trips the opponents, and has been banned from twitter. Many a NT coach has tried to reign him in to no effect. I'm not even going to try. The dude is what he is at this point.

Favorite show "Hannibal"
Favorite food "raw hamburger"
Catch phrase "Up yours, Princess!"

Myles Crocker (33457605)
Myles is a journeyman who's played in only a handful of NT games to this point in his career. However I see something special in this guy. It could be his blue collar work ethic or being the first guy in the gym each day. Definitely not because his uncle is VP of operations.

Favorite milk "almond with a splash of yak"
Favorite Star Trek series "Voyager"
Catch phrase "Wait till my uncle hears about this!"

Very nice....Cant wait to see some more. But how about hometowns. I Dont mean where they play but from which slums and hick towns spawned them.

But base where they are from situated on that teams scouting practices. If the manager does a lot of scouting the player makeup should have a national feel. If like me you do no scouting your team should look more regional in nature.

To wit.

Alfred Webb. 33 Pf/c North Wilkesboro NC
Andy Armstead, 33 Pf/c Tappahannock Va
Karl McClain 30 SF Turlock Ca (picked up at 21)
Billie Skinner 30 PG Muncie Indiana (picked up at 21, and yeah he is utopian but that really merican and that bowl haircut screams hoosier state)
Donald Taylor 24 SG Augusta Ga
John Strong 24 PG Mount Juliet TN
Paul Han 20, Sf/pf Bennettsville SC
