Orri Baldvinsson promoted to Hall of Fame

Orri must have been the best Islandic player ever seen on the Dutch basketball fields. He finally got what he deserved for a long time already; election into the Hall of Fame of DHC.

The cornerstone of DHC's offense had no problems living up to the skyhigh expectations after arriving at DHC 5 seasons ago. Being one of the most expensive players ever at DHC's franchise, he made a huge impact in every single game he played.

Unfortunately the inevitable had to happen. After last season's relegation, the management cannot carry the financial burden of assist king Orri any longer. The future will soon be here; toptalents as Bobbie Meijdam, Meinte Pauw and new rookie Leslie Hoenderken can't wait to live up to Orri's legacy and carry DHC's franchise back to the league they belong, DBA Pro A.
