Hi everyone,

I have a suggestion that I believe could make the Buzzer Beat national team system even better and more engaging.

Right now, we can see a flag icon next to a player’s name when they’re part of either the senior or the youth national team. My idea is to add one more designation, a “Potential National Team Player” status for players who are being monitored by national team coaches and might be called up in the future.

Why this would be useful:
• It would make things easier for national team coaches, allowing them to track a wider pool of potential players.
• It would motivate managers to train their young domestic players, knowing they could be recognized as potential national team material.
• It could increase a player’s market value and prestige, adding another layer of strategy and realism to the game.
• Overall, it would nicely complement the existing system and encourage more long-term player development.

How it could look:
•The icon could appear in the same spot (bottom-right corner of the player’s picture), just like for current national team members.
•Instead of the usual orange basketball with a flag, potential players could have:
•A gray basketball icon, or
•🏀 Just the basketball without the flag, to show they are not yet part of the national team but are being considered.

Possible implementation:
•The “Potential National Team Player” status could be assigned manually by the national team coach (or automatically based on certain criteria, for example, nationality, age, potential or rating).

I think this feature would be a great addition, enhancing both the managerial and national team aspects of the game.

What do you all think?

I agree with you, there should definitely be a cap on how many players a coach can choose
