We managed or first win for the season early this morning, worthy of a first post for season 71! It was actually a tight game that was difficult to score in.

MVPs
3- Scannell- 16pts, 5 assists, 4 boards
2- Harrington- 16pts, 6 rebs, 4 assists
1- Pollentes- great stat line, triple double watch but only shot at 25% FG and took a large volume of shots. 15pts, 9 trends, 8 assists.

Last week we started with a loss to Finland
3- Curtis 18pts, 5 rebs, 4 assists
2- Scannell- 18pts, 4 rebs, 1 assist.
1- Goulding- 10pts, 5 boards, 4 assists

Yeah I tuned in for a few minutes, almost balked at the missed shots from my boy.
It was a low % game overall.

I'm sorry, but that's just not good enough
Even if all four of their teams have a Utopia team, that's still about twenty times fewer teams than we have and that's assuming none of our teams have one. That's just unacceptable
They had a decent team.
One that didn't even qualify....
Shameful.
And the exact same thing happened last week with the national team against Kazakhstan!! And we even had home court advantage for that one! Pathetic
If this were politics, people would be calling for resignations. Something has to change
I mean, I've got a couple of decent players myself and I've never been contacted by either the U21 or NT coach. Maybe they're not quite NT/U21 level, who knows, but looking at these results, you'd think it might at least be worth checking
