In any case, such a schedule is unfavorable.
Whoever starts away and loses will have fewer spectators at their home games.
Whoever plays away three times and loses them will also have less merchandise revenue.

The full fixture is this, where "conference A" is the conference that starts IC play on the road, and "conference B" is the conference that starts at home (in odd seasons, conference A is the Big 8)
