True, but with this being an economics game IMO, I wouldn’t mind it if other managers did not have access to my revenue situation. It’s pretty easy to extrapolate whether a team is in the red or black with this info.

I’m not too upset about it though, as I also use this information to my benefit, so it’s fair. That’s the only possible thing I could make a case for toggling it to private information only.

If we make DMI private, might as well just eliminate it, as it no longer has any value (if it has much value to begin with).

Stats and ratings are affected by many different things, such as gameshape, mins, strength of opponent, and RNG. It’s correlated with skill level, but not directly.

Salary is an easily digestible indicator on skill. Eliminate this, and now you require managers to scout not only previous games, but also the strength of their opponent and estimate their possible gameshape during those matches. This will only serve to make the learning curve for newer managers much much steeper. I’d rather not have an hour of scouting for each match. Also keep in mind that TV contracts are determined by overall league salary, so in a way each team is required to report the teams salary.

Age, salary, and gameshape should be visible for all managers. Hiding ticket prices (not attendance) I can concede could have a positive impact.

This should also not be optional, as that creates a competitive advantage. Either make it the case for everyone or no one.

Let’s take a step back and look at this again. I hear the points about salary being an easy shortcut and how hiding it might make scouting take a bit more work, but I respectfully disagree. I still strongly believe we should fog out and hide that team player information.

Yes, stats and ratings fluctuate due to gameshape, minutes, opponent strength, and RNG, and salary has traditionally been a quick indicator. But relying on a simple salary number to judge an opponent removes a huge layer of tactical depth. Hiding that information doesn't ruin the game—it actually forces all managers to do real scouting, analyze past matchups, and truly understand their opponents instead of just looking at a single price tag or game shape DMI.. That rewards deep strategy and makes managing much more engaging and for new managers alike

And regarding TV contracts, we can easily find alternative ways to calculate league revenue or report totals without needing every individual player's salary blasted out in the open.

I’m completely for fogging out age, salary, and gameshape trainers, for other managers. Let's make management a meaningful part of the game again.

New managers need to learn the game is not easy to start, steep learning curve is not a bad thing. It soothe over time. I think paid feature optional.. cut it on and off, it s great for the cup. B3 and other tourney’s.. People will actually watch games., engage in the forums for philosophical understanding of ratings ,make the Nt coach more valuable.

Also am I missing something? Where you are able to see a teams staff levels?!?

You absolutely cannot. That's another misleading fact used in that suggestion.

Not literally see, but u cant know , u have level 4,doctor and your not really training anything. Most of your player ar 65-77% done. One maybe 80% a few are capped.

A mutual fog system would be a lifesaver during cup runs and full-scale rebuilds. Don’t you think

During a Rebuild:

When a team is intentionally stripping down the roster, stacking cash, and training young prospects, opponents love to use public data to time their runs against you or figure out your long-term training arcs. A privacy toggle would let you quietly develop your core without scouts reverse-engineering your player caps via salaries and peeking ur minutes.

During Cup Runs:
Cup matches are high-stakes, single-elimination chaos. So Keeping your opponent completely blind to your rotation fatigue, true DMI levels, and tactical depth would make a deep cup surprises way more common instead of letting a heavy data-miners map out your exact weak spots.

It completely changes the dynamic from who has the best tracking spreadsheet to who actually manages their squad better on the court.

I believe the opposite would happen to nearly all of your points. Scouting fatigue will lead to less engaged managers, harder scouting will lead to less upsets during cup runs and BBM matches, and this complexity to scouting will lead to less retention among new managers.

Agree to disagree. I vote nay. That’s the last I’ll say on it.

You want it straight? Let’s lay it down.

The old guard loves to wave the flag of "tradition" and talk about community values, but let’s call it what it really was: protectionism for people who wanted an unfair advantage. They weren't preserving a legacy; they were safeguarding loopholes, data-mining shortcuts, and copy-paste cloning operations that let them peek into everyone else's kitchen.

When BB-Marin brings down the hammer with these updates, he isn't destroying the game—he’s leveling a playing field that was rigged by people who couldn't stand the thought of managing on their own merits. Fairness isn't about making sure everyone has an open window to spy on their neighbor's training schedule or. How he build his players . Fairness is putting everyone on equal footing where your success depends on your own strategy, not on how well you can reverse-engineer someone else's roster.

So let the old guard cry about the changes. Let them complain when their crutches get kicked out from under them, the real whit hats of the community will always suffer because of the status qou. Attitudes..

. At the end of the day, BB-Marin's rolls aren't about making things arbitrarily harder—they're about protecting the actual integrity of the game, and should. We not for our legacy of community Teams as well. . If you can't win without peeking,

You don't deserve the win anyway.!! When BB-Marin created this game, he didn't hand out a blueprint—he dropped us into cold blood universe called Buzzerbeater and told us to survive on our own.

Adapt, build your own path, seperate the weak from the weak obsolete, and let caring die.If I cant eat then nobody ,is going to eat off me.!!.

Not that it has any importance, but BB-Marin didn't create Buzzerbeater. He is an employee who came afterwards.

Well anyone who can create the rules, is a owner ... No disrespect to the real owner or anything to him. .nothing but respect to all.

Not sure who you’re calling “old guard”, or what unfair advantages you’re referring to. You make it seem like there is a BB illuminati
