at first glance the players in Italy are stronger than in Israel. at least among those who are on transfer.
Indeed we were better, and deserved to win imo
The Italians didn't play 2 blockers at all. I don't know Busato's skills
We kinda did, Busato and Ghezzi are both shot blockers... you can confirm this by looking at their stats at club level.. 4ppg with 17rpg 4apg and 4 bpg.... so if we count Magutto as a "attacking shot blocker" that means that 3 of the 4 bigs that played were Shot Blockers + Civita which was an attacking PF with high JS and DR (and yeah he's transfer was after the game)
They needed to put Madedda in the lineup
We had poor GS and that's why he didn't play...
I don't know if they have any other blockers who are better than Maggiotto
Magutto was the best cause he could attack too.. but defensively yeah the 4 "pure" stoppers we had were better defensively
Bernardo has -3 range compared to Iliano. Mansuetti has -1 in every skill compared to Speccio.
Bernardo had -3JR true but that's about it.. everything else was the same or better.. for example he had +4PA, +1IS
Mansueti has -1 in everything compared to Specchio but still should have easily scored against his direct defender: Chagag who only had od 15
(https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1447261398705897515...)Israel has better defense in the small ones
Only Salomon had higher OD than our guards.. he had OD20.. all the other had 17/16/15 while Italy had only 17s and 18s
Also.. there was no ent difference.. actually we had an ent advantage since we played playoff norm in the semifinal against Spain... sooo yeah
Just an unlucky game that we deserved to win.. but that's BB
