Hello everyone, I am announcing my candidacy for the position of Puerto Rico National Team head coach.
I have been part of BuzzerBeater for a long time - I played with my previous team from season 12 to season 61, and during that time I coached several national teams: the Latvia NT in seasons 31 and 32, the Vietnam NT in seasons 47 and 48, and the Puerto Rico U21 NT in seasons 50 and 51.(My previous nickname was “Bariga”, and my former team was “Ķengarags”, if anyone wants to verify.)
Because of this, I am already familiar with your country’s BB community, and even now my current roster includes a young Puerto Rican talent - Stanton Alfaro - whom I plan to train so he can strengthen the NT in the future.
My goal for the Puerto Rico NT is long‑term development.
I am fully committed to working together with the U21 coach, communicating with managers, and ensuring that young Puerto Rican players are actively trained. This way, in the coming seasons we will have a wide pool of strong local players ready to represent the national team.
