I just said it, but you didn't observed. I agree with no walkovers, to exist an automatic formation as game order, but no punishment for the user/team. I also don't agree that you call some walkovers "manipulations". That's all.
Hello
This will be long reply .
I understand your position, My concern is still the design itself. If a manager intentionally keeps only three actual players when the game gives a team a full roster to start, then that creates a way to manipulate the outcome, even if we can’t know the manager’s intent every time.
That’s where I think the “Skeleton Crew” idea is interesting and the culprit. If the game truly wants to allow teams to operate with only three players, then maybe the design should simply give them three actual players &make the rest “Lucky Fans. To start... instead of 10+ real players.. Then there’s no gray area about a full roster being deliberately left unused.
To be more clear ,-The game gives you the players. Why should the system allow a team to go into a competitive game with only three and produce a 50–0 walkover?
That's the design choice Im questioning—not whether someone forgot something or what their intentions were.
I’m not saying every walkover is manipulation. I’m saying the possibility exists within the design( has occurred), and I think the rules should prevent that possibility rather than rely on us to determine managers intent afterward.
Punishment is already warranted. Because punishment is already there !! If the want for no punishment is said , then we cant have it both ways!!
