I think the playoffs doesn't have much to do with the draft, except the champion drafting last. A 4th ranked finalist still picks before the 2nd seed for example who got eliminated in the quarterfinals. If someone doesn't want to get promoted and relegated, the safest way is to just make the playoffs. I've done it multiple times, and if I didn't want to go further I just set a weak lineup. But if someone decides to just have the PO game as a 50-0 WO, maybe the jersey sales could drop a little since the fans are dissapointed that their team didn't even show up to the game. Maybe a 30-40% decrease in jersey sales can be a penalty, it would effect in the next let's say 3-4 weeks. So it wouldn't be as strong as a boycott obviously, but it would lower the weekly income. But if there's a playoff walkover, I wouldn't mess with the draft. Especially if that team had a lineup for every regular season game, which actually affects the draft.

You dont need supporters, to set the whole team to play, it free, just click the small. Box easy as can be. There no reason for a walk over.... The supporter version is just a comeback later and your team don’t close type of deal.

1v3 & 2 v4.. Letsay.It’s walkover the for #1 seed and ur the 2nd seed who wins . That walkover just cheated you out of random chance in the match

. That Number 1# team didn’t use drop of stamina, gameshape ,fully rested with all the team perks. You had dog fight to beat number #4 and 3 period over time thriller. Now your stuck with player who have 51-64 minutes, drop in. Gameshape 1 player injured .& You think thats fair? Or your lost. ( oh well)

Then we are to play detective and find intentions.. No penalties..

I agree that a walk over doesn't look good, but I don't agree with the fact it creates unfairness. Because the team that sets a normal lineup advences anyway, either with a 50-0 WO or 100+ point differential. But I definitely think that the penalties you mentioned at the beggining of the thread are way to strong.


Example:**1st offense:** $25K fine + loss of draft pick. In my opinion, this is too much, especially if it was simply a mistake.
You should lower the amount: maybe 5-10k fine with the draft pick not taken away, but moved back 1-2 spots.

To be clear: I still don't think the system needs to change, but since you're so ambicious about your opinion, I'm just trying to give you ideas.

Let say 2. Teams colludes to do this or single member with 2 teams. . How would any one ever know? There’s no rules to stop them, “oh well i forget to set my lineup’.

How does reporting help? How do that matter?, A team 2 seasons worth of work is gone,.. Who has to play that team in-the 2nd round, they used stamina and game shape inthe 1st round ,the walk over team didnt? Thats Very unfair

The penalty is there for show, its extreme yes , we all know BB wont implement that . I think its has to be extreme. You will never know really what occurred. It a deferments . Who Knows if it a lie of.” I forgot “//.

What tools does a manager have to defend themselves beside extreme rules to deter.?.

In a WO game why would gameshape matter? If we are talking about next week's gameshape, the starters receive 36 minutes in a WO game, which is perfect for starters. And I honestly don't think that one game means anything stamina wise, since a stamina drop happens every 2-3 seasons with the same player. I don't understand why you brought it up.
