Why does the fan speed up to maximum when I open Game Viewer on my computer? I'm working on something else, and watching the Buzzerbeater match on a secondary screen is very difficult due to the noise and performance loss.

Is this happening to everyone?


It does the same thing on my older Mac Air; I have no trouble on my much newer iPad. I have always assumed it was because I use an outdated machine, but I don’t know the technical details.

I've always experienced this on my older computer, and occasionally on my newer one. I've never asked why and have no explanation, but I tend to use FireFox to watch my matches and now I'm curious if you use FireFox also.

I use Chrome. I had this problem on my old computer too, which I used Opera on. I switched to a new computer a month ago and was surprised to see my system still consuming near-maximum power.
