Thanks for the answer. Let me throw a little more info and maybe you'll be able to tell me if I'm wrong for sure.

I'm getting 23 750 from merchstore and 4761 from arena skin, that's 28 511 every week.

I spend $381 092 on player salaries. $348 658 of that is my own draftpicks, homegrown. $31 417 is spent on local and a whoping $1017 goes to international players.

So all I can get, despite deliberately building homegrown/local team and having multiple people with high salaries in top 10 are $81 354 per week if we exclude buildings?

Team Sales $ 18 637
Player Jersey Sales $ 34 162
Homegrown & Locals $ 28 510
Arena Sponsorships $ 4 761
Merchandise Store $ 23 750

Ariy Glazunov $ 16 546
Konstantin Sadyrin $ 9 400
Yury Pishchikov $ 5 782
Petr Matyashov $ 1 153
Yury Fatkulin $ 493
Svyatoslav Avdonichev $ 462
Albert Avdienko $ 200
Demid Tishkevich $ 65
Gennady Mushtukov $ 33
Semen Gusin $ 28

Maybe I've forgot how it is in 3rd league and have false memories. But I remember making about the same with much less of salaries and a core of non local players.

Does this breakdown looks right to you?

Team Sales is based on your division level and standing, as well as the main fan survey components (TV/rivalry game wins, cup standing and transfer list ratings, etc). Based on the information released on Discord and the forums about the nature of the merch bug, I don't personally believe that Team Sales was impacted by the bug, and $18.6k for a freshly demoted d3 team that's borderline playoffs doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Homegrown & Locals is a %age multiplier on Team Sales, based on the percentage of your salaries that is from Local & Homegrown players. If you're fully home grown, that multiplier maxes out at 160%, with your salary ratios and posted Team Sales amount, the calculation for HG&L is correct.

Arena Sponsorship and Merch Store are flat values based on your arena design and merch store respectively, so those won't change and weren't effected by the Merch bug.

For some reason I missed Sadyrin when I was looking at your lineup earlier, but all three of your top players are making 10% of their salary in jersey sales, which is in the typical range for players with one or two top 10 rankings in the major stats for the league and no significant top-world rankings. Being down in D3 means your players are competing with 4x as many players for "top in the division" rankings, and will by that nature depress their jersey sales some. But even from what I've seen in the top level division, a player's jersey sales will max out at about 15% of their salary unless they're playing on a NT/U21 team.

So yes, I do believe your merch is in line with your current situation, and that you effectively got a refund you shouldn't have because they back-calculated the merchandise to compensate people with by looking at the end of last season (which I expect was substantially higher merchandise for you, with the higher division level's base sales of ~$25k, the extra amplifier of the HG&L bonus, and the jersey sales from the players you sold off at the end of last season).

Thank you very much for taking your time to answer. Now I see that maybe I was wrong. A combination of a huge refund and mostly homegrown team got me confused.

I guess I should be fined by at least 70k now, to get my economy right. I wonder how many refunds/fines were wrongly calulated.

My fan survey is 5 stars, my team is ranked top 500 in the world and i have dropped 50k in merchandise since last season. It is not right, i was making between 120-150k last season and now only 96k. Still have my star players i had last season.

You've had a lot of allstars last season, so I'm guessing your merch will be lower in the begining just based on that.

But then again your player won MVP, and 96k sounds kinda low for what you're describing. I'm still confused.

You sold (52594794), an NT player who I would assume was pulling at least $30k/week in merch, between his NT and rankings jersey sales. And you also sold almost $300k in other player salaries between the end of last season and the beginning of this season, with one of the replacements (Climo) not having played enough league games for your team to qualify for rankings yet. Assuming 10% jersey sales for the other non-NT players, that's another $30k in Jersey Sales sold from last season, and only about $13k so far from the replacements until Climo qualifies.
