*Hey little Guest, appreciate the breakdown* 🙏

You're 100% right that Level 4 doctors + HRC + FT/STA training are the tools we have now. Most of us use them.

*The issue is:* we've had those same tools since 2008. 18 years later, injuries still create the same 2 problems:

1. *Training death for U21s* - A 21yo prospect losing 3 weeks of OD/JS/JR can end his NT chances. Doctor can’t fix that. FT doesn’t replace it. Death to youth training in general which is biggest issue of the all..training .

2. *No skill expression* - IRL, Kobe/MJ rehabbed skills while hurt. In BB, the only counterplay is “pay more salary and pray.”. Buy more player you didnt train . This is buying championships, it becomes deeper than buying a player to replace.

*Nobody’s asking to remove injuries.* Risk is part of basketball. We’re asking for _agency_ during rehab, like every modern sim has:

- *Gym rehab slot* = train 1 skill at 50% speed while injured
- *Game shape floor* = can’t drop below Inept if you assign physio
- *Doctor synergy* = L4 doctor + rehab = 75% training speed instead of 0%

Something more updated .

That keeps injuries meaningful but stops them from deleting seasons. HT has physio training. FOF has practice. BB is the outlier.

*We all know the workarounds.* The point is: after many years, maybe it’s time the system evolved past workarounds.

Thanks for keeping the discussion going. We can bring better change and we should

Hello

While high-level doctors mitigate minor issues, they are a reactive solution to a systemic problem. Relying on "minutes already played" is not a management strategy; it is a gamble that fails the moment a player is sidelined in the first quarter of a Saturday game, resulting in a 100% training loss. Furthermore, the argument that a rehab slot would "double" training speed during a 6-player injury crisis is a mathematical fallacy that ignores the actual logistical strain on a roster.

Here are four facts supported by National Team and top-tier managers to prove why a rehab slot is essential:Derailment of Elite Trajectories:

For National Team prospects, a single two-week injury can permanently stall the "elastic effect" required to hit skill targets. Experienced managers argue that without a rehab floor, "u21 /nt player or top potential player is lost

When six players are injured, a manager isn't seeking "double training"; they are fighting for roster survival. A rehab slot stabilizes the team's core development, preventing a manager from being forced to spend millions on "filler" players just to remain competitive, which ruins the long-term team economy.ans spirit of the game in buying championships.

I propose that rehab capacity should be a scalable facility (similar to the Gym). This allows for 1 or 2 capped slots that provide a fixed percentage of training, ensuring that even with 6 injuries, the team’s total output remains within balanced, realistic limits.

The current system assumes that every injured player already has sufficient minutes, but factually, injuries often occur early in the week or during the first few minutes of a game. Without a rehab option, the current mechanics punish managers for circumstances entirely outside their control, regardless of doctor level.

Hello

Here's a clear explanation of this rehab

48+ Minutes: 100% efficacy

Rahab is -
24 Minutes: ~50% Efficiency (or less, based on Doctor and potential.)

Result: This is a strategic disadvantage, not a game-breaking exploit.

Then there's faster recovery , again depend on TC level

Hello,

Even healthy players receive no training if they do not play in the training position.

So why would injured players be able to receive training instead?

My answer:
Because they are losing training at the position, also it only 50% maxed. Depending on various factors.

Also please note, its not for healthy players only injured, healthy players cannot do injury rehab,. If you put a healthy player in Training court all they will get is basic free throw nothing more or less. Same as now

If you have a 18yr old injured player, they get rehab training, which cut down the time of injury, also gives them some training %, so they are not ruined completely. Im up for giving 18-19yr olds youth 100% weekly training in rehab with seasonal injury mandatory if you have youth trainer. It will also help game shape / stamina % some what with a injury, leveling it to percentage.

Trainer lvl ,doctor lvl, training court lvl with rehabs &player potential work together . Based on various factors.

It just an option, Im very sure it can work. Its fair for all we are paying for in training court. 3. Million + 15k a week. Adding rehab center to training court will give it more depth (500k-750k). Solve an issue as well.
