Gameday 2 - May 5 2026
Tuesday night built on the excitement of the opening day, delivering another mix of statement wins, high-powered offenses, and standout individual displays.
The headline performance came from the New York Cyclones, who exploded offensively in a commanding 158–128 victory over Perry. It was a complete team effort, with the Cyclones dominating across the board—scoring, rebounding, and playmaking—to register the most impressive collective display of the night.
TheGoats responded emphatically after their narrow loss on Day 1, dismantling the U.K Nuggets 125–57 in a one-sided affair. Their defensive intensity set the tone early, piling up steals and blocks while controlling the tempo throughout.
Another strong showing came from the Hayward Lumberjacks, who continued their winning form with an 88–75 victory over the Coolsville Comets. It wasn’t as explosive as their previous outing, but it was a controlled and disciplined performance that highlighted their consistency.
Ballus Maximus secured a solid 119–110 win over the Midwest Bulldogs in a competitive matchup, while the Slashing Dragons edged past the Brookfield Ukies 105–99 in a game that stayed tight deep into the fourth quarter.
One of the more surprising results saw the The Black Adders turn the tables and defeat Ballz of Fury 102–96, showing resilience and improved execution compared to their previous outing.
Big Forest continued their steady run with a 100–88 victory over Zanzibar Thunder, while MORNINGZZZ delivered another offensive showcase, overpowering the Wonder Dogs 146–122 in a fast-paced, high-scoring contest.
Individually, the night belonged to TheGoats’ A. Oglesby, who earned MVP honors with a dominant all-around performance—37 points, 11 rebounds, and strong defensive contributions. He was well supported by teammate F. Hammons, who made his presence felt on both ends with rebounding and defensive intensity.
For the New York Cyclones, T. McDermott orchestrated the offense masterfully with 17 assists, while their overall team play set the benchmark for the evening.
Elsewhere, H. Frazier stood out for the Slashing Dragons, combining scoring and playmaking while knocking down eight shots from beyond the arc in one of the most efficient performances of the night. J. Holm was a force inside for Ballus Maximus, controlling the boards with a 20-rebound effort.
Not everything clicked for everyone, however. Perry’s W. Simms endured a difficult outing with minimal impact, reflecting a tough night overall for his team against a dominant Cyclones side. Meanwhile, the U.K Nuggets continued to struggle, particularly with ball control, as turnovers once again proved costly.
In all, Day 2 showcased a shift toward more decisive results, with several teams asserting themselves clearly—none more so than the New York Cyclones and TheGoats—while others will need to regroup quickly to stay competitive.
