Next Monday starts World Championship (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/world/standings.aspx?teamid=3...). I decided to make a poll about chances for win the title. Who do you think has biggest chance to win it? I mean it like independent tip no matter if you are fan of your or any other NT.

There is not possible to set more than 10 responses, so african teams Misr and Nigeria are not there as I ordered the teams by current NT Ranking.

I think NTs must have not only a good manager who understand tactics perfectly, but also well-trained players with good secondaries. In my opinion your NT has both of these predispositions better than any other team, so I voted for Ceska.

Don't forget that we played EC last season with HCA, this season all matches are on neutral.

No chance is too strong. I expect open tournament with about 8 teams with similar chance.

Chile won Worlds Gold in Season 14. They won Worlds Silver in Season 16, only losing to Poland who had HCA. The fact that they are tied for 3rd in this poll is laughable, though Poland is a serious contender. Maybe they are getting ignored because they aren't a European team, or maybe some aren't familiar with their roster, but I imagine after this Worlds Chile will get more respect.

If Chile wins the Worlds this season, then in my mind that's basically a "3 peat" (back to back to back championships) if not for Poland's HCA in S16. Poland has a great team, and will have the opportunity to shut people like me up if they win Gold this season, if they do win Gold that validates their gold performance in S16. If Chile wins however, it would be very very hard to argue against the fact that they have been the best team in the World for the last 3 Worlds Championships.
