My team ratings after a game look about like this Outside Scoring inept (low)
Inside Scoring inept (high)
Perimeter Defense inept (high)
Inside Defense awful (high)
Rebounding mediocre (low)
Offensive Flow inept (low)

My game shape is always good so Im not understanding why my team ratings are always so low, how do i increase this?

That tells you what your team did good in. Use that as a guide so you know what you are lacking of. example outside scoring and inside defense, for your division having mediocre ratings are good enough.

This isn't entirely true.

For example if you play and inside based offense for a game, generally you'll get higher than normal inside offense ratings and lower outside offense ratings. Same with defense if you focus on either inside or outside. Only if you play a neutral offense and neutral defense will you get a somewhat true reflection of your team's strengths and weaknesses.
