stubby it is always better to be lucky than good
but did u know that 40% of nba players are broke within 5 years of leaving the league
even allen iverson is rumored to be broke despite earning $200 million
so u need 2 not make the mistake most d4 noobs make when they come into money & buy a couple of d2 standard players with massive salaries
u r in a bit of a tough d4 but u just need to make sure u win ur conference
ur roster looks like complete crap
u will need to get some better players, those $2k guys arent worth it when u can get $5k guys who r better for less than $10k
i think the "standard" formula for success is either train pgs or train Cs - looking at the players u have u r much closer to model a)
a) training pgs
3 pg trainees all 18-19 low height $4k + salary pallstar + potential
1 ok sg $6-8k salary youngish (max 25) & not capped who can get occasional training
1 ok sf $6-8k salary
1 backup sf type $4-6k salary
1 good old pf $10k salary
1 good old c $10k salary
2 ok big men backups $4-$8k salary
b) training Cs
1 good old pg $10 salary
1 good old sg $10k salary
2 ok guard backups
1 ok sf $6-8k salary
1 backup sf type $4-6k salary
1 good youngish not capped PF $6-10k salary
3 C trainees all 18-19 tall $4k + salary pallstar + potential
u r much closer to a) cause u have 5 suitable guys already, just 5 to get!
a) training pgs
3 pg trainees all 18-19 low height $4k + salary pallstar + potential
1 ok sg $6-8k salary youngish (max 25) & not capped who can get occasional training Crespo Cacheiras
1 ok sf $6-8k salary David Girard
1 backup sf type $4-6k salary Yossi Mesika
1 good old pf $10k salary Matteo Arconte
1 good old c $10k salary Dario Kortekaas
2 ok big men backups $4-$8k salary
needs
2 ok big men backups $4-$8k salary spend max $10k on each
3 pg trainees all 18-19 low height $4k + salary pallstar + potential these r worth spending on as they r the only players on ur team that may keep their value but dont spend more than $100k on each unless u r sure they will be a good fit for u maybe pose here again & ask
arena
i would continue 2 expand ur arena, but try 2 keep at least $1 million in the bank for an end of season push
rivals
Melbourne Hurricanes look bad but have 1 good player Behnam Shahrokhi make sure @ least 1 of ur big men is a high ID guy
Hoddles Creek Bouncers this team looks really dangerous with 2 high potential big man trainees Steven Farris & Lanny Allen lucky the rest of their roster is bad but again u will need super defensive big men 2 beat them - dont forget by the end of the season Steven Farris will still only be on a $25k salary but will be playing like a $50k player
With Time Winding Down looks the most dangerous, supporter, good players, also a good big man trainee Vijay Hales, only good thing is he has crap GS & looks like he doesnt know how to manage it
so it will be hard 2 win but with $1.5 million in the bank u can do it
1 thing after looking at ur opponents i would invest in a super stopper big man with around a $20k salary and ID of sensational + and IS of prominent -
