I only use Puffin and Skyfire, for viewing games. And after Puffin, I never went back to skyfire, waste of 6.99. I'm not sure if you can use Chrome or not.

I don't use apple products, but...
Can't you just stream games from your computer to your ipod/ipad? Use a program that lets you control your computer through your ipod. So something like in this photo:
