Lake Merritt is completing their 17th season in the NBBA, and are 4 time NBBA champions. For just the 2nd time in those 17 seasons they will have to play a Relegation Series for the right to stay in the league. Fortunately for them they are facing a team that is finishing their 1st season in the league, and has made it clear all along they never expected to stay in the league past this season.

Lake Merritt has Home Court Advantage in this 3 games series, and has an advantage in payroll $788,614 to $693,5047 comparing the teams Top 8 players. This Series offers a contrast in styles with the Star Fliers being one of the better outside teams in the country, and Lake Merritt preferring to attack inside in the paint.

Will experience and strength determine the winner of this series? Or will the Star Fliers get hot from the outside and pull off a win on the road and give themselves a chance to improve on their first season in the NBBA?

Poll:  Who will win this Relegation Series and stay in the NBBA?

Not sure how I pulled this one off with two injuries, one of which to a crucial starter.

A win is a win, right? :-( Gotta think that you won't be hit like that very often in these crucial games. That might have been the Star Fliers best chance to steal a game on the road...If they get a better chance than this one you might up end up pulling your hair out :-)
