So, before I wade through thousands of forum posts in hopes of figuring out what is going on (since I've not really been paying attention and it looks like my short bench approach has been scuttled by the dreaded injury and my team has gotten old by BB standards...)

1) What sort of player should I try to train? Are well-rounded small forwards still in big demand?

2) Are there any sort of helper websites/applications etc people want to share as I begin my descent to II and probably III?

If you're talking about NT capable SF's, I don't know. But for NBBA ones, I'd give him one elite secondary, and then tailor him towards your teams identity. It's too hard and too expensive to go world class.

Easiest thing to sell right now is a SALARY-EFFICIENT SF (like $80k-$110k salary range, to attract the most bidders), a well-built PF, or a guard with IS.

Thing is, pretty much everyone is hoping that changes soon, because everyone ELSE is sick of playing LI too... most of us that are rebooting are talking about training some kind of outside-oriented big man I think.
