I've barely touched my Utopia team since I got it. I thought it would be great but all it really did is make me appreciate all the work i've put into my original team over the last 18 months.

Starting again with a team with hardly a player over 50 tsp, a 5000 arena and players of a nationality I dont care about just isnt that great compared with how invested I am in my first team.

However I can only speak for myself, lots of people have probably enjoyed the challenge and all the extra teams must be beneficial for the overall game.

To offer a different view, I enjoy managing my Utopia team very much.
I've gone with at totally homegrown team, so it's a whole new set of challenges compared to my regular team.
Also, it allows me to have two sets of strategies and lineups to manage every game day, and that's the best part of BB.

I really appreciate my Utopia team because it lets me enjoy the training aspect of the game which I miss on my original team due to the competitive nature of my League.

Finantially speaking, it's been pretty hard to manage my utopia team. Prices are up (hard to buy trainees and coaches), competition is tough, which has a strong effect on the cup, specially because there are virtually no bots in utopia, so reaching the third round is an accomplishment (so almost no cup money in utopia, except for an elite). I'm making a profit, but too little. Maybe I should just give up trying to be at least a bit competitive for the first 3-4 seasons and fire the old dudes with decent skills that i bought cheap (not as cheap as it would be ideal) and who allow me to win some games, which kind of sucks.

I've really enjoyed Utopia. It's offered a much different challenge from trying to maintain dominance at the domestic level and brought greater variety to my enjoyment of Buzzerbeater. It's also reminded me that, GE-flaws apart, what a superbly-designed game this is; one that offers many routes to the top. It also acts as a reminder that BB badly needs an app interface to fulfill its potential.
