Hey everyone. I was hoping we can maybe make this league a little more active. I see a couple of teams going bot and I also see a few new teams being created and landing here. Anyway, I'm hoping we can make this forums a little more active, maybe have a few discussions going, or answer some questions to some of our new owners.

This is by the way my second team. I left a year ago because school got busy but now I have more time. I really wish I could have that old team back. The best team I had was a playoff team in Division 2. I wasn't anywhere close to getting to Div. 1 but I was hanging in there. Now I'm back to square one hopefully with a better understanding of how to build a team.

Wanna tell us about your team or how your trainees are progressing? Or pretty much anything really.

I played the game many moons ago, but soured on it because of the attitude of the upper echelon players. Came back just because I'm bored with WoW and this is cheap entertainment.

Made the mistake of choosing a medium start instead of a newbie one. I don't remember getting trounced as bad the first time around. But it seems like players are a lot better in the lower divisions than they were back then. Showing up itowards the beginning of a season doesn't help.

Mostly just hoping to build up some cash and buy a few cheap vets to be competitive. But I'm guessing it wll be more like building up some cash and being a doormat for a while.

Yeah that's mainly what I'm doing too. I'm only buying old vets. I see a lot of really good players that I'm tempted to buy but I'm holding off until I get about 2-3 young players trained. At that time I'm hoping to go after promoting to higher divisions. One thing I noticed now though is it's so damn hard to buy decent staff. I'm always getting outbid and it's getting tiresome.

I got a level 5 trainer cheap, but his salary is huge. Probably why no one else bid for him.

Seem to be a lot of 19 year olds in the draft. Don't remember that first time I played.
