Hello. Season 35 is about to start ! Welcome to the 5 new teams.

Big 8:
Ballstars (champions of III.7)
Diorite Pistons (champions of III.15)
Serapo Gaeta (champions of III.1)

Great 8:
Cassville Yuck (relegated from NBBA)
Red Robots (champions of III.14)

Yuck won the title here in season 33 but he is already back home! :D

Good season to all. May the best team win! ;)

Diorite shared III.3 with me in season 10 (!) and II.4 in season 26. The very-intermittent quasi-rivalry resumes!

Mr. Yuck, I don't know what your plan is but it seems you are the latest in the long line of NBBA tankers, and you did an epic job of it. Speaking from experience, I'd say Calum's way (bottom ALL the way out in D4/D5) was superior to my way (get bored and try to start winning again in D3). But even if you're planning on continuing the tank, with the new higher salary floors you can probably throw something competitive together anyway. If so, I'll meet you at the bottom

Those other guys ah dun nevah herd uv

Hello again!

I haven't quite decided what I want to do. I have nice bench players in place already so I would just need to add a couple starters to get to the relegation series but I think my path has me headed to DIV. Either way, I won't be looking to load up on a new shiny draftee. All full for trainees. I got a sweet one this morning.

Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: awful Free Throw: pitiful

Experience: atrocious TSP: 54 (34 + 20)

So lots of training and a demotion ore than likely. I am really enjoying the whole training thing again.

There are a lot of familiar faces and some damn good teams. Good luck all.

ooo, and 18yo MVP too. Nice!

I think I got the best guy out of last season's draft here, even at 19 he's probably the best guy I ever drafted. Fits my plans almost perfectly for once! Love the handling/driving split especially.

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: pitiful

Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: strong

Gonna make some 20/20/20/20 (JS/OD/DV/IS) builds with him and his soon-to-be-adopted buddies. Relegate if I have to, gonna be hard to train 18/19yos here.

I had him ranked second. Sockdologizers (since demoted, rest in peace) got my #1 and he turned out to be a junky PG with holes in hard to train stuff and rebounding to keep his salary high: (39786751) so I dodged a bullet there

I'm scared because there are NO high potential USA trainees on the market right now.... hopefully some pop up soon.

What level trainer you going with? I'm thinking about doing the thing where you buy a level 6 or 7 for $1k and just eat the hilariously high salary for awhile before swapping to another $1k bid option.

Well, you can see the path I took in my team diary on the offsite. (Shameless plug for the offsite to any managers that aren't using that tool!). I bought McCabe last season when the rookies released. He cost a couple million. Then Monk was available and at the time one of the better U21 prospects for this upcoming season. He didn't fit my plans perfectly but wanted him to stay American so I grabbed him too. I got a level 6 at first with 80k per week salary but his salary was jumping like 1.5k or 2k per week. I was just going to juggle the high cost guys as the math made sense. Then I happened to see a level 7 trainer on the market with a 24k salary. With an hour to go he only had a million for a bid. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was a few beers in, let's just say I paid considerably more than a million for him, thank you alcohol fueled competitiveness.

That all being said, I do want to develop McCabe to be a NT member.

He got 15 pops last season which is great considering I didn't hit the elastic build up first, due to Monk's needs. Getting 4 pops in OD and still getting 15 pops was pretty damn good. With the addition of Duke Murry, they will get a full season of one on one forwards this season. I expect another 18 pops knowing his sublevels. Originally he was going to be a scoring guard for the national team but with Murry destined to be a PF with insane secondaries, McCabe may be going defensive SF route.

Hello Everyone,
I see a few familiar teams, Visionaries, Yuck, and S. Bombers. I am glad to be back in D2. I hope to be competitive in D2 and stick around a while. Good Luck to everyone in the new season.

15 pops? 18 pops? Wow I'm usually happy to get 12. I've got enough beer at my house to buy a level 7 trainer this Saturday...

If you live in California let me know. Touring the state for the next few weeks. I can swing by and help drink some of that beer. Currently in Solvang at some Danish pub enjoying a Helheim Black Rye. Check another beer off the bucket list.

Drinking a Ballast Point Victory at Sea Imperial Porter right now. Ballast Point is a great brewery in San Diego.
