Alright from now on it's competitive games 'til the end.
Tonight's game against Guatemala should be an easy win.
No change in the roster, no new callups and GS is good so I'm happy =) Nixon won't start this time because of his 7 GS, but with Burimenko and Kearin at GS 8 and 9 we got the PF/C spots covered.
Guards also have good GS, I really don't see how we can loose that one, baring multiple injuries.

On another note, the Beanz Odyssey went bot, so Jarvis is for sale! If a Canadian manager grabs him, please train GS for a few weeks...

A bit late for the game report but here it goes.

Our GS was really good, theirs wasn't, and they got an injury early in the game. That gives a 54 point difference at the end of the game, that's good, but lower than what Brasil and Argentina were able to do against them (+60 and +76 respectively).
In other words, it won't be easy, but it will be close ;)
RnG was effective, I was a bit worried at first because Barreiro Valverde didn't make any shot in the first half (Jolly was in charge!), but he woke up in the second to end up the highest scorer. Backups PG and SG also played good and the bigs did their job.

Next game is Brasil, that's our first real game of the season. It should be comparable to the scrimmage against Venezuela in terms of opposition, so we have our chances, but we need everyone to be in top shape. The result of this game will probably decide if we end up second or third in the first round (Argentina @ home will be another story!)
