Totally baseless predictions. Team roster payrolls in parens because I was curious and decided I might as well share.

Great 8
1) Burger Chefs ($322k)
2) DHS ($289k)
3) Sierra Oaks ($257k)
4) Shinoa's ($262k)
5) Jade Dragons ($467k)
6) Visionaries ($248k)
7) Trap Godz ($159k)
8) Most Dope ($163k)

At the top the Burger Chefs have a solid and young/improving roster. Has Doda Madeira missed his window?
Sierra Oaks my dark horse and Jade Dragons whatever the opposite of that is.
Both the new guys look like they need roster upgrades to compete and I think Trap Godz has easier holes to fill. Who knows what surprises they might have up their sleeves though!

Big 8
1) California Knights ($392k)
3) Frogmonsters ($263k)
4) Bay Harbor ($366k)
5) Lay Down ($280k)
6) SM Lizards ($246k)
7) Caerbannog ($138k)
8) Blue Vikings ($129k)
8) Lebron ($112k)

Some interesting developments over here. CA Knights had huge salary bumps on trainees. If he can keep that team together it's dangerous.
Bay Harbor has a team that looks to me like it's going in multiple directions at once. Deep lineup of medium-high salary guys on the older side, but started a 48 minute trainee in his first game. What's the plan?
Lebron is either packing it in or deciding to big a deep hole to start the season.
Similar to our side, the new guys look outgunned but are in good position if they can fill a couple holes.

Love the post, thanks for that.

As for the Butchers, I guess I am going a bit in all directions. I'm a multi-tasker. I try my best to win as many league and cup games, train as well as I can, and have a good draft all at the same time. This season might be a little more tricky than other seasons, but that's still our gameplan. Might have to do some tweaking depending on the financial situation, have to see how hard the demotion effect is going to hit us. Optimistic and confident regardless ! :D

And yeah, most of my guys have been on my roster for long period of time. Been running with this squad since they were all pretty much rookies, for the most part.

Good luck everyone ! Hope to see lots of activity on the forum !

Thanks. I really want to avoid relegation after waiting 10 seasons to get out of DIV

Good stuff, Peluin.

Thad made a huge jump salary-wise and this might very well be my last season so I thought I'd throw some money around and have some fun. Haven't had the time to pick and choose free agents so I just took what was best out there at the time but that might not be enough so we'll see if I have to make any other moves.

I'm looking to pick up a guy, maybe rearrange the deck chairs on this Titanic a bit. But the market seems crazy right now, I can't find anyone worth the price.

It's the second round. The Cup has to be half bots and I draw a road game against a playoff D.II squad. Sucks!

You can beat them!
Granted, it wasn't until 3rd round but I drew Arizona Desert Storm last year...

I was surprised to see I've never played Sungrazers before. We've both been playing for like 20 seasons now.
I could make it competitive, but the question with this sort of cup game is always "is it worth it"...
