Coach MK is a really strong candidate for the NT, I'm happy to step back (at least for now!) and see what he can do. That way I'll be able to enjoy summer =)
Whoever is elected will get my updated (and almost complete) depth chart.

Ok, I'll bite.

What goals would you set for the NT during your term should you be elected?
What are the key factors in achieving those goals?
How will you give yourself and the team the best chance of achieving those goals?
What areas do you think the NT could improve on in comparison to recent years?

(This is for all candidates, not just Coach MK)

Here we go.

I will answer the questions in the order you wrote them down.

1.) Goals. Of course I want to win as much as possible, but who don´t want. SO that is not a tie breaker who is in my advantage. For me it was always important to have a good communication with the managers. I want to build a solid bas were the NT can succeed the next years. I want to discuss with the managers about their goals with potential players and see how we can build a good player for the NT and for their club. And with all the managers who are interested in training we can reach the goal to be good in the next seasons. It so important to have a constant flow of good players which make it difficult for the manager of the NT to decide which player he picks.

2.) achieving factors. Communication and community. Without a good community I would end up like in my last station - almost no progress due to a non-interested community. I guess the answer to question 1 is also including information to this one.

3.) how. That is quiet simple. If the community take care of their players (training and game shape), success will come - almost by itself. And than it would be up to me to pick the right players and the right tactic. I will not talk about what players I would put in in this or that match, since I don´t know the skills. I know this answer is a bit vage, but that´s what I can say for now.

4. Improvement: I heard that you rosters lacked a bit in variety the last seasons. Target must be to level that. It doesn´t help to have 10 PF/Con a top level and just 3 Guards - that is a bit an exaggerated example, but I guess you know what I mean. For an NT manager unpredictability is treasure. And for that broad diversity of different player is important. But to be honest I will not, if i win, 35y old players (34y just if this players is really dominant) , even if the skills are still there. I would nominate a younger player to reward the training and keep the managers motivated. For this I would also take a loss.

I am also a guy how has a memory like an elephant. If somebody constantly didn´t take of the game shape, this player will play just one season in the NT.

I would like to see this as a long-term project, that is the easiest way to see the players grow and and have also some influence on the training.

I hope I answered your question. If not, just ask again .

Let's see how it goes with this ghost ;)

First of all, thank you for you candidacy. I admit that your BB cv it's impressive, you already managed three NTs, which surely it's a good start!

Since you're the only candidate that said something so far, I have a couple of specific questions.

How are you planning to wake up the sleeping bear? It seemed the key factor for both your speech and your previous reply.
Will you count on help from some scouts, or will you do everything alone? In the first case, do you have already a team of users available to do the job?

How to weak up the sleeping bear is the most challenging part of the HT manager job. I will write a lot of mails in the beginning. I try also to write some words about the last and the upcoming game. I will also be very transparent. There will be a list of every potential NT player beginning from the age of 22 or younger if a manager is directly interested in training for the NT. But not only the NT is the focus. I will answer every mail which comes in about training or more general purpose of BB. It may take a while, but I saw the grows in the Swedish community were one of my Utopia-prospect is playing. In addition, Nachtmahr, the Swedish coach very good, and so I experienced the growth and it seem the really started building a strong NT which may end in a golden generation in 2-3 seasons. And this is, what I also have in mind.

For the scouts, I would love to have help from some people. But I know, the scout job can be quiet annoying and boring. So I am also prepared to do everything by myself. If the team get good results and a strong growth also in number of available teams, I don´t care if we did it or it was just my work. At the end a NT manager can be only that strong, as he gets support form the community. And no, I don´t have already some user available in my mind, but if you want to help me, you will be welcomed with wide open arms But it would be nice to have at least one person who is able to speak french, in case a manager is only able or willing to speak only french.

@all: Thank for your questions so fare. It looks like a promising star and if we can keep it growing, I am pretty sure we start to build to compete on the highest level.
