Hello my indian friends and welcome on the Season 39 U21 topic,

We are in the consolation tounamennt this season after our tough performance during the Asian championship.

The team has clearly improved compared to last season with the training processus slowly starting up. However, we are still lagging behind in many areas. The problem of this season is an imbalance between the profiles and we will have to correct with adapted tactic.

Our first game against Slovakia was too hard for us, but we achieved a very good tactical move to finish at only -19. It is a performance against a good team, we have to continue like that. The important game is next week against a real opponent of our level Saudi Arabia.

I don't set goals for this season, apart from winning as many games as possible.

It is only my second victory with India U21 in an official game, so it is with great emotion, I announce we have defeated Saudi Arabia !! We validate our nice performance of the previous game with this easy and wide victory against an opponent to welcome the next Asian championship. The tactical choice was effective and well chosen, so we are ahead of our goals with this wide victory !
I do not think we would have been able to win a game this way last season, so thank you for the training. We still have work, but there is progress. We will be waiting for our schedule of the second phase, and we will be lucky to continue to win and hope to be the host country of the Asian championship next season.

Second victory in this consolation tournament and this time outside our home court ! I ticked this game to win because playing against Pakistan, when we play with India, we can only win. A derby, it does not play, it wins. And we succeeded !
We are now 2 wins for only 1 defeat in the competition and in position to qualify. The road is long and difficult, but we have a new stage on monday ! Mexico Monday at Home, victory to hope !

Thank you Chelo, the game was amazing ... But it's a terrible news for us to loose against Mexico. We have the game in your hands all the time. We was +8 at 1 minutes before ends, and +4 at 1 minutes at the end of first OT. We loose of 1 points, that happen. After our loose on a buzzerbeater against New-Zealand last season, two game loose in the last moment..

Third victory against Panama in this consolation tournament. The hope of qualification is extinct but we continue to wear the colors of India with pride with this victory. Our inner tactics have deceived our opponents despite their choice of superior enthusiasm.

A sporting achievement arrived Monday, it is for our team of India U21 ! We won against the Philippine, a team perched at the 18th in the world and has more than 300 players in the BB-country. We managed to get the big game out of the season with a perfect tactical choice and fit, powerful and motivated players.
I am very happy to have my reference game with the team after some difficult times. This victory, I want to give it to the coaches who allowed to make a perfect game.
I said in my previous posts that we could not qualify, but with 1 victory over our last two games we can !!! All with India U21 to go to the second round of the consolation tournament.

Season Review :

No India has not won 1 of its last 2 games ... so we are eliminated from the consolation tournament. It is a pity especially against Denmark where we found their tactic but our major effort against the phillipines has been paid in the last two games.
I have nothing to say about the last game against a very strong opponent for us, the regret comes especially from this game lost in extra time of One point against Mexico ...
In any case, the team was better than the previous season and responded despite the non-qualification. I am satisfied to give a balanced balance 4 wins and 4 losses.

You can find the team of next season in the games that will follow because I will test our 20 years. Thank you

I won a contest on the French forum, so we have the chance to play against the world champion Monday in a friendly game. A gala game but also a first preparation for the Asian championship.

A first list of players will be decided Monday in the day, as usual, the first roster will be compensated from 10 to 12 players.
