I'm excited to be in D.III for the first time as an owner. It looks like it'll be tough league. I am hoping to pick up a piece or two off of the transfer market, but everyone is currently over priced right now

Same here. I came from what seems to be a pretty tough IV league and now in this league we have a slate of teams that includes one that I recognize as having been in the NBBA at one point. At this point, I made the acquisition that I'd wanted to make, and now I'm just trying to sell off a rookie that I think could maybe sell but if not then I'll just fire and a shooting guard who would be a decent pickup for someone in a lower league. Also, I hope that this big 1730 seat expansion that I just did pays off!

Welcome to III.10! Same to the other new teams as well. Now that you are in III, gone are the days where you can win your league simply by knowing how to manage GS. My philosophy is to focus on winning my home games and try to steal enough a few road games to offset the inevitable home losses against the top tier teams. That is generally enough to finish around .500 which is good for 4th or 5th place usually.

Were you in D.III as a player? If so, congrats on your advancement!

In all seriousness, good luck this season to everyone. I demoted last year after finally selling off the really, really old core players that I'd built up over the previous 20 or so seasons. Time to build it back up and hopefully make it back to II!

Welcome,

Last season was my first in D.III. I finished middle of the pack, with what I believe was the best team I've ever had. This season will be really interesting, considering each team looks to be active and competitive.

At the moment, though, I'm stuck in a passive rebuild. I hope to win enough to stay in the league, but still be able to develop my rookies. Maybe next season, with a star acquisition in the off-season, I'll be able to fight for the league championship.

Good luck guys, and much respect to you all.

A very exciting 16 point 3rd quarter for the television audience.

Very quiet forum this season. Will Rockford push through to the championship after last season's disappointing final, or does Chronic Pain finally move up?

I had no idea. I felt like they had been here for awhile and I did not know where they came from
. Regardless, I'm sure they would like to promote.

Yea, crazy how quiet it is. I'd usually be more chatty but I'm kind of on autopilot while I rebuild. Here's hoping I can move back up in the next 2-3 seasons though!

Rockford has the edge on PD and most likely HCA so I would have to give them the slight edge.
