Looks like the Cal Bulldogs have been promoted too, with a 21-1 record.
Congrats to both Cal Bulldogs and Insert Name. I will not miss having to play either of you.

Only one team advance each season to the next highest level, unless there's an additional opening in a higher division by a team departure. Basically someone quits or ghost in a higher division, the game system automatically advances the second best teams from lower divisions to fill the voids left behind by ghosting.
why do higher teams ghost? Basically to start over.

Yeah after further research it looks like there were 4 teams that promoted that way. Pony Express, Red Pandas, Cal Bulldogs and LA Fappers.
Most of them had 21 wins, I think LA Fappers had 20.

Yeah it looks like Warroad in III.6 would've been next in line, but they just missed the cut. They also had 20 wins and didn't win the title, but their Point differential was not as good as LA Fappers.
