It would be nice to be able to communicate with other managers bidding on the same guy in a embedded chat on a transfer listed player...

Then I could either beg for mercy or curse the ground they walk on when they use the entire 3 minutes in a bidding war lol...just thought it may bring a little bit more fun to the process.

That would be too much for users in my opinion, probably with a lot harassments as mentioned.
You can always contact users per BB mail, it should be enough
