I do not support that teams in any league have names like Hooker's son (originally KurvinSin) or Asshole kickers (Schupak Kickers). Is there any rule about refusing registration for new teams with offensive names?

Offensive names are not acceptable and we reject them as much as possible, however it's not always possible for all GMs to recognize an offensive word in a language they don't understand.
If you see any teams with a offensive teamname, username or arena name please submit a cheating report.

what if his last name is hooker? or what if his mother is really a hooker? it does happen , i dont think its offensive at all actually i find you calling it offensive ... offensive. in that way you are judging his mother if she is indeed a hooker, thats just not right. let gms screen names and unless they contain swear words let gms deal with it. my 2 cents lol

But this is a basketball manager!!! Come on. Hooker's son? Let's ask him who is his mother and if this is not true I also find it offensive.

Hooker = in rugby the mid player in first row in a cluster (group).

Older than the rest ...

His name was "SukinSin", not Hooker's son. I am pretty sure this renders the whole debate moot.

i would agree in this case, but not in general. some words can have multiple meaings, sukinsin hooker hmmmm possible but unlikely lol, my point was not just this case though, i meant in general unless they contain swearwords let gm deal with it, i know a family with a last name that starts with s and rymes with but , they constanly have people be mean to them or refuse to use there last name for things and personally i think that is wrong. another example which is a good one is a local real estate which does alot more business then any of the others around here is called dick payne real estate the guys actual name is richard payne his nick name is "dick"

I get your point and we definitely have this in mind. But the two particular cases cited in this topic are most certainyl non-controversial.

I think the only names that should be banned are ones of racist nature. Do we really want people policing the names of teams or the names of arenas? This is just my opinion.. Peace
