Just a guess but I think you're about to find out on Saturday.

I'd say that you could break even at 500k in total expenses...

Thanks for the tip. Given the beating I likely took in season tickets holders due to the demotion, it will probably be less than that for me. But let me see who I can buy and how much money I have left over after the purchases.

Got my level 7 fitness trainer. Check.

Picked up NT trainee. Check.

Got my PR manager. Check.

I still need to get a doctor, 2 more trainees and the other players on my roster. Still about 17.7 million to play with. I think I'm getting excited to start wiping the floor with you guys.

Yeah, it basically shows you that if you played this game from the beginning, regardless of skill and effort (and it seems like our subject in this case barely cares about the game anymore), you're miles and miles ahead of managers who have joined the game 8-10 seasons later. Me and you, for example, despite being proven as two of the most skilled managers in Canada over the past five seasons, can never really catch up to those people who've been playing for a dozen seasons.

Essentially Naismith ownership has become Major League Baseball ownership. MLB is full of 80 year old owners who've gotten to own their teams through family or friendships (Mogul, RIP, Greer, zero territory, Thoroughbreds, Jugglers, Pokey Stars, Montreal Rockets, etc.) . Then, there's a "hotshot" younger owner who comes in (me, Ocho, Stajan, Montreal Snipers, etc.), and really wants to own a team. The MLB owners can't stand these younger guys invading their "gentlemen's club" of sorts, and so the young guy rarely ever gets his team (see: Mark Cuban).

The greatest of all time.
