Thanks but you perhaps are to humble. You have taken advantage of your situation well and from where I sit you are in the throne and the others have to knock you off.

Unbeaten Baikinman bites the dust! HILARIOUS result, as I was on TIE, with nowhere near my best line-up in... and add to that: I was playing my 2nd trainee center at point guard (and he got a dub/dub at point! 13 pts, 27 rebounds!!!). GS & HCA definitely played a part too.

Sheesh... I'd written this game off before we started. Baikinman is still in the Cup, but I gotta feeling that he took my "season-off" into account when scouting too... and that loss could well hurt him come end of season.

Shikoku, you might well owe me a beer now!

Great win, It is nice when amidst some bad luck one unexpectedly goes your way. At this time of the season with tough cup games everywhere there can be some unexpected results.

Gotten down to only 8 active teams in all of II.1. Still, only THREE active teams in II.2 - and 1 in II.3.
So Sashiogi Heaven (53460) will auto-promote to JBBL, he only needs to stay around. Guy's top player is a 5k 19yo.

Awesome set-up BB!

State of play in 2/1.

7 teams in Big 8, 6 in Big 8.

15-0 +824 Shikoku Otaku look strong for the championship but 13-2 Northern Kyushu Raman Kings can challenge them, they have been sitting on a very cheap roster all season so must have a ton of cash stashed away.

In the Big 8 both aisteru.4ever and Baikinman are 13-2. KA-BOOM-JP have some good players but bad GS, but are the last team that has ome sort of chance.

Meanwhile in 2/2 Okayama Chon are sitting on a 14-1 + 915 record.

There will be potentially TWO bot promotions this season. One because 2/4 has no humans. The second could occur if Sashiogi Heaven don't win 2/3, hey they just lost to a bot team, it is possible. But I would be banking on one.

So if Shikoku Otaku can continue on undefeated this season and end with a 22-0 record they will get the bot promotion and have little reason to gear up for the playoffs. Their only threat is NKRK and it is probably against their self interest to actually win that one.

Then for the playoffs NKRK, aisteru.4ever and Baikinman can all buy up big, load their rosters with heavyweights and slug it out for the championship. Players are so very cheap now they can probably buy JBBL standard teams for a couple of million.

If Shikoku Otaku win the championship and Okayama Chon do as well (as both probably should based on current rosters) then the bot promotion race is tight.

aisteru.4ever 13-2 +851
Baikinman 13-2 +805
K-on 13-2 + 234

The game between Baikinman and aisteru.4ever 4/24/2012 7:00:00 PM could well be a promotion match!
