I posted it because it's saying last season's rookies had inflated salaries, it is fixed for this season's draftees. So your $5.7k 18 year old should have had a lower starting salary than he actually did, thus not looking like he improved a lot when he actually did. That said, that should be the experience with all rookies going into their sophomore year, so not sure if you're saying all that considered it's still lower relative to where others are at, but I've found most fully trained 18 year olds in the 5-8k range.

Hi all

This will be my second time around with a more prepared and ready team than last time. I quickly got knocked out the first time I was here, hopefully I'll be around here for longer!

Cheers

Did the salary update hurt anyone else badly?

Surprisingly, my salary hardly increased at all. Stronks only went up by about 10k despite popping in JS, Han, Dr, Pas, and twice in IS. Goes to show what having a well rounded player can do in terms of keeping salary down.

I had a nice update. Only 30k up compared to last season's last week. I really hope this season's draft will be very strong (at least one top pick that ends up in my team). I will enjoy one season of rest after pretty crazy Season 21 that ended in big dissapointment.

I figure mine made the least sense. I'll be training at PG this season and I just bought a 3rd untrainable PG and only own 1 trainable PG (well he's a C right now, but a future SF). Ideally, I'd have bought 2 trainees. Instead I bought a crappy 31 year old.

Another ideal thing I should have done was set my line-up for tonight instead of posting about this. It's possible I started typing this before rosters locked for the game.

Without seeing his skills, he seems to be a good value buy and you can always fix your mistakes quickly with those types of moves. And the lineup thing doesn't look like it'll cost you, for tonight at least.

Beanz and Stronks must have butted heads in the last team Canada scrimmage... looked to me like he deliberately sent out his players to injure him. Just glad the injury is not for more than tonight's game.

Glad it was minor that is for sure. Stronks is a huge part of the National Team.

The funny part about his injury is that it was while he was guarded by fellow NT'er Duncan Arsenault.
