Congratulations to GS_Warriors on tonight's victory and promoting back to D.II!

Good game by Jack Rabbits - too bad Lee Kee Chai went down in the second. Jack Rabbits seemed to be making a bit of a run at that point to close the gap, but without him in the third, it got away from them. On the plus side, at least injuries no longer carry over to the next season so he won't have to go without him for a quarter of a season.

Best of luck to everyone in the draft. I'm hoping to get lucky enough to find a couple of guys I can sell for at least 1k each. LOL.

My original plan was to finish 3rd or 4th in the Big 8, so I'm fairly happen with how my season went.
I know that in order to win the league I probably need to add an interior guy. But I generally don't like most of what I find on the TL (too little training on JS - PA) in the salary range I'd prefer or they end up going to for over a million, which I can't really afford. Of course, I also probably don't spend the time on the TL that I need to in order to find the player I want. lol
I suppose I may need to settle for someone less than ideal, but my main enjoyment from BB comes from building my team, my way. Winning a league and promoting is secondary to that and will happen when it happens. I'm not too concerned if that is next season or season 40.
Best of luck in D.II.

Nothing wrong with that. One of the great things about games like BuzzerBeater - not everyone playing has to have the exact same goals.
And it's not like I'm not trying to promote; certainly not trying to avoid it. I've just focused on building a team I like and feel is constantly getting a little bit better. I do plan for that to result in my promotion eventually.
What I'm not interested in doing is buying a couple of older players simply to promote. As a result, I've never really had any financial issues. Although without the cup money last season, I wasn't making much each week. Will have to see how much my salaries go up this coming season, but I think I can manage a $280-290k salary bill each week and still be staying in the black.
Now time to go check on the scrubs I got in this draft.

Yep, Graves is definitely the stud of the draft. HOF and the fourth highest salary. If he's not planning on making him a center piece, he should be able to get money for him. Either now or after training him up for a while.
I got nothin', but I wasn't expecting anything.
