i think im getting a bug?
why aren't all the bid money going to my bank....

the "manage my team" and "economy" pages says i have a different amount of cash on my hands

mainly, kev fairchilds bid money isnt going to me? is this suppose to be normal? lol

The fact that your likely 500k in the hole will have something to do with it. Buying your guys back is going to be tough especially if they don't sell for big money.

on Economy page: Available cash after bids: $ 751 501
on Manage My Team page: Available cash after bids: $ 382 998

You don't get the money during the bidding process, you get the money only after they're sold and on the new owner's roster. It's always worked this way.

It shows up in your economy as available cash after bids but you don't yet have it to spend until the sale is complete. You can only spend the money in your total cash reserves.

Somebody can correct me on this if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's correct.

I think Beener and beanerz are incorrect, you should be getting access to whatever % of the bid as soon as they are made. That's what the benefit of an early bid on one of your players is. I think this is a bug, but it shouldn't affect your ability to buy back some of your players because if you're getting ~97% of whatever someone else bids, and even if you're starting at ~300k, it should be enough to get back your core players. But, that's just from my experience and memory, I imagine you'll test it out when your players get close to being sold.

It's always (since day 1 I started this game) worked the way (for me) the way Fresh24 indicated.

Once someone places a bid on my players, the cash (minus commission) is available for use.
It never occurred to me that this was a bug?
But cash was always instant lol

And in this case, half my players were instant while the other half were what beener and beanerz described... weird

(it was a much wider gap before I made a bid on Fairchild)

I imagine this is a bankruptcy-specific issue, not a bug. It makes sense for bankruptcy. Otherwise, yes, definite bug. I've been able to spend any money in my total cash reserves since I started playing.

it's really weird now... says I have 1mil+ in the bank
for some reason, I can bid on certain players up to that cash value; whereas it says I have insufficient cash for some players whose bids are at 100k

I am going to wait it out and see if the "bug" goes away after the wave of bankruptcy related sales are done

Then I'll post a summary on the bugs thread to see if anyone else knows anything
