Thanks, Amp. I'm actually a season behind where I was aiming, thanks to Flash Mashers taking a competitive D.III roster down to this league last season and wrecking what was supposed to be my championship before Chekreyes ruined the party. At least I got one more full season of training for my young core before having to step it up.
FYI, the reason why my team is looking ready for moving up and staying up is because in Season 26 I made the very deliberate decision to clean house, tank and focus on training a brand new team with a ton of cash after I'd come to terms with the fact that I knew my roster then was full of players in their prime, and that I'd even have to break the bank and try to get to D.II with a team would have crashed right back down with old players and little money, or suck it up and rebuild. I tanked, took a very patient road, and now I'm rebuilt. Unfortunately for me, though, is the global economy is totally different now. Back in Season 26, even in Season 30, $1.2 million could buy a serious player. Not that same money gets just another role player. I'm not feeling as flush with cash as I did when I started to rebuild. But at least I've got a core of home-grown players still a few years from their prime, and hopefully I won't have to wait too long to be a real contender in D.III, too
Good luck to your team, you almost pulled off a quick return back up thanks to some savvy moves in December. I suspect we'll be seeing your team back in D.III shortly. But watch out for DaLips, that's a team that's not standing still, not to mention that Portland team that got the better of me this past season. This is definitely one of the more competitive D.IV leagues at the top of each conference.
Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
