Oh, and one question. When training pg, which skill do you start with?
Thanks.

That's basically the hole people find themselves in where they keep ending up dropping back down every time they do promote and can never keep advancing. I've done this myself where I would come up to III and spend a good 4 years floundering in the middle of the pack while not making any money and then when I inevitably can't stay up, I just have a team full of guys who are too old and guys who are scrubby backups.

My preference is to pump OD and PA early because those are the most valuable in both making them contributors if you want to win AND more valuable on the transfer market.

And yeah - I hear you guys on the wanting to be competitive, but one thing I've learned is nothing happens super quick in this game so I've learned to take my medicine on a rebuild if needed.

So where is your southpaw roster on the rebuild timeline? Are the players you have now in training? Will some stay on the team? Transferred after training? Or are they placeholders while you save money so you can eventually spend big building your next team?

Great question and TBD. I had thought of one more season after this one before moving up, but its real hard to NOT promote from Div IV.

Ive got two trainees im planning to take with me to the NBBA (Xavier and Owens).... But the timeline gets wonky with that lapse season.

Hoping to find a stud in this class I can sell and if I can get a real good prospect to sell maybe I start the push back up next season. If not I may dink around one more year before i start the climb back.

Thanks for sharing your process throughout the season.
Given me, and I'm sure others, food for thought.

As someone who has promoted twice from this level, only to be demoted a season later, I know staying the course isn't going to get me any different results.

Good luck next season, and maybe you'll pass through here again on on your way back up!
