Looks like won this year. Let's see who promotes for the icing on the cake.

Also, the media doesn't shaft LBJ, he deserves every ounce he gets. I think he is a spoiled brat, but he stepped up this year. Finally got over the edge. Dwhistle is still a b*tch, though.

Sry guys, I let my conference down big time- this was a rebuilding year for me- in every way really, reteaching myself the game.

Its harder in D.4...go figure. Especially this D.4 league

How the hell am I still in 3rd? I haven't won a meaningful game in almost a month and I'm 6-9. The way I've been playing and managing I don't deserve anything better than 5th.

I'm just curious why you think LBJ is a spoiled brat? He didn't come from a spoiled background (i.e. Grant Hill, Kobe Bryant, etc)....he came from a single parent home, and struggled hand to mouth till he started getting $$ from basketball.

He's not a hateful person or have an attitude problem, he generally says/does the 'right' thing, he a family guy...whats the problem?

My guess why some folks hate on him is his swagger. I think some people see that swagger on the court/off court....he's an intelligent guy, well spoken...and they just don't like him. Its nonsense to me....but I root for intelligent, self-less players like LBJ.

I am a Cavaliers fan and did not appreciate how he handled the last year or two of his tenure there. We defended him for multiple years when stories came out of him being a coddled, entitled jerk who was only concerned with his bramd. The ESPN special used to stab Cleveland in the back on prime time TV and subsequent "not 1, not 2, etc" fireworks and hydralic lift show made me feel betrayed and sick that I defended him all those years. Then hearing slipped quotes from him saying he, Bosh and Wade had planned it all, more or less, in 2008 and it just finally came to fruition.

The whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth. He was in Cleveland for 7 years and did nothing in the offseason to recruit others or work on his game. When he couldn't win the big one in Cleveland he blamed it on the lack of teammates around him (65 win seasons aren't done from bad teams), then he couldn't win in Miami with a better supporting cast so only had himself to blame and actually put the time in. He came out hard and carried Miami to the title so I will begrudgingly accept that he has grown up a bit.

But I still don't have to root for the guy.

I had to play katchup while the people behind me were losing, going from 2-7 to 6-9 isnt the easiest.

I agree with everything but the intelligent part, he was not very mature/ intelligent when he announced he WILL win a title with the cavs, not maybe, not possibly, no he WILL. Thats what made a lot of people upset. But what Lebron thought is that he will get better team members to do this. He was horribly wrong. Have you ever seen a man win a championship by himself in the NBA, no. Celtics, Lakers, Bulls all had help and big three's. The cavs gave Lebron nothing to work with... What does lebron do, He wont stay in a place that tortures him like this. Nobody would. Thats Lebrons story in my eyes and thats why I'm a huge fan.

Yea, I can understand. The front office when Lebron was drafted was pretty terrible. When Gilbert bought the team and changed management it took them a year or two (wasted years) to flip liablities into assets to be able to compete.

However, his unwillingness to coax other players to come to Cleveland in the off season combined with him not signing a third long term deal really compromised what the Cavs could bring in. I think they did a pretty darn good job, all things considered, puting together that 65 win team that got beat by the Cs when Lebron melted. They were better than history will remember them for.

You are right that his guarantee to bring a Championship to Cleveland added fuel to the fire, as well.

I am too excited for the Cavs future to be worried about him anymore, though.
