I think Beener and beanerz are incorrect, you should be getting access to whatever % of the bid as soon as they are made. That's what the benefit of an early bid on one of your players is. I think this is a bug, but it shouldn't affect your ability to buy back some of your players because if you're getting ~97% of whatever someone else bids, and even if you're starting at ~300k, it should be enough to get back your core players. But, that's just from my experience and memory, I imagine you'll test it out when your players get close to being sold.

It's always (since day 1 I started this game) worked the way (for me) the way Fresh24 indicated.

Once someone places a bid on my players, the cash (minus commission) is available for use.
It never occurred to me that this was a bug?
But cash was always instant lol

And in this case, half my players were instant while the other half were what beener and beanerz described... weird

I imagine this is a bankruptcy-specific issue, not a bug. It makes sense for bankruptcy. Otherwise, yes, definite bug. I've been able to spend any money in my total cash reserves since I started playing.

it's really weird now... says I have 1mil+ in the bank
for some reason, I can bid on certain players up to that cash value; whereas it says I have insufficient cash for some players whose bids are at 100k

I am going to wait it out and see if the "bug" goes away after the wave of bankruptcy related sales are done

Then I'll post a summary on the bugs thread to see if anyone else knows anything

and so I ended up selling my whole team off and starting fresh

I just realized that GS2 changed his user name to something ridiculous and is hong kong entertainment gossip news lol

Terrible season for me. Everyy important game and in every close game (difference of 10 points or less) I am 0-7.

Ended with 10-12 record, I am in relegation series and my key player is injured. Even despite that troubles I got low draft pick and I am likely going to relegate because of troubles to my team, some tough luck, and poor choices that I made in last week.

I'd still be surprised if you relegate. You've got home court advamtage and no disrespect to St Louis, but he's clearly not on your team's level.

did you even check my team before writing this post? I got 2 injuries to 2 out of my 3 best players.
