good read. i'm gonna throw in nyc as an upset special. i think they finally have some decent game shape and are gonna look to flex their newly found muscles against an unsuspecting walnut streets team. pina can matchup 1v1 on tremol, and the streets have no answer for stopping luna. vaine could put up a dozen assists imo.

The Big 8 answers the Bell and scores 5 wins this round. 5-3... making the first week a dead tie. 8-8!!! Not many shocking gmaes. Philly was favored if they played normal. and as predicted they didn't. They probably viewed Frosty & crosstown as losses to losing lost them 0 ground in the overall scheme. Look on monday for tuesday's main game matchups!

What a start (only 2 games in) to the Interleague Season. The 2 sides are tied 8-8!!! Tomorrow brings another round of games and the III.7 Sporting News is here with previews of the big games and predictions...

Marshland vs HomeBoyz...
We start with the game of the highest ranked teams going head to head. We have the Big 8 3 seed vs. the Great 8 2 seed. Marshland enters this game as the highest scoring team in our league. This team puts up points! Homeboyz have been rugged all season. Homeboyz have 2 top 5 scorers in the league and they will NEED to score. Marshland has 5-6 players averaging double figures with 2 of them being 20 PPG scorers. I believe this game is going to be a SHOOTOUT. Marshland is favored by 9.5

Walnut vs. Philly
Like always with Philly in terms of seeding this game should go Walnut's way. But the story of this team NEWSFLASH! they BEAT GOOD TEAMS! Philly went TIE in their last game to build enthusiasm. they have a tough cup game. But i don't think they will TIE 2 games in a row. Walnut on the other hand leads Big 8 conf right now however hold a low pt diff. But its all about winning and this team has won this season. This is a big game for Walnut to show they are contenders. Vegas has Walnut Favored by 7.5... Personally my gut Philly sneaks up and beats them.

Mits vs. Frosty
This game right now doesn't hold much in terms of playoff picture right now as it stands. But if 1 of these teams are going to sneak into the playoff picture they HAVE to win this game. I believe this game will be very close. Both teams are very balanced but the defensive edge goes to Frosty. Not much write up on this game. Just wanted to highlight it because i think it will be a very close game. Frosty by 9.5 is the vegas line.

The other games on paper aren't very flashy. Here are our Projected winners
Crosstown beats UNC, Lambda beats Snake, BucsBlue beats NYC, Baker beats Dang888, Tigers beats Warhawks

Highlighted games Frosty wins, Marshland Wins, Philly vs. Walnut (is a coin flip)

I usually dont watch the gamecast but I'm glad i did tonight. this had to be one of the wildest games i've seen on BB. final was 125-121. NYC hit 2 3s in under 9 seconds. we missed the freethrow and an Offensive rebound saved up. What a game. I have nothing but respect for NYC. if this is the team he's going to but on the floor every night i have NO CLUE how they aren't winning games! What a heck of a game.

Because the manager hasn't really been that active this season. Last year they were really good.

I know this preview of tonights games is pretty late so i dont know if you'll will get a chance to look it over before your games. This wont be a long write so here we go.... I think we can agree on the first game of interest.

#1 BucsBlue vs #4 Philly
BROKEN RECORD ALERT!!! Philly has lived up to the billing of being a "giant" killer if you want to call the teams he's beat giants. I mean for a 4 seed in the Great 8 Philly's resume of wins are just impressive. He's lost Cutler but added a replacement, and added another player as well. This will be a battle of last year's MVP & last years Runner up. expect a GUARD battle tonight. Bucs on the other hand has slowly found some chemistry and quietly moved up the charts on the Big 8. Some would say this is what was expected of BucsBlue but management really had its doubts. Lets see if BucsBlue is for real. Philly and Bucs are out of the Cup i expect both teams to play their playoff rotations and lineups. BucsBlue is Fav due to home court. But if you were a gambler i would put money on Philly!

#2 Tigers vs #3 Walnut
Its amazing how Pt Diff has so much to do with seeding. this game as of Tuesday was going to be #1 vs #1. I dont know what to think of this game. I believe its going to come down to who values league wins more than cup wins. Both team are still alive in the cup and although i haven't looked at their opponent at this point in the cup most games aren't just cake walks. Walnut i think has more on the line as a loss would potentially put him in a 3 way tie and only increase the traffic jam Tigers could lose and still have some cushion however Tigers next game would be BucsBlue. I think Tigers win this game.

#4 Homeboyz vs. #3 Lambda
Besides Philly vs BucsBlue, this game will probably be the most fun to follow if you watch the BB game simulation. The boyz are a rough blue collar basketball team. Hard work beats talents and yes the Boyz have talent but they GRIND. Lambda has been a staple of this league Lambda has pedigree talent at every position and is poised for their usual run at the league. Can the Boyz show they are for real? or will lambda's prestige hold true. Lambda is favored by 1 given they are on the road.

#2 Bakers vs #5 Frosty
Two of the most active managers in our league square off. Frosty has constantly talked about how he can't judge whether his team is good enough for playoffs or not, but he isn't ready to call them non contenders either. Baker has tons of talent but if you follow his feeds you'd think the sky was falling. I personally dont believe Baker, and as much as i respect frosty as a manager i can't buy that right now as currently constructed his team is legit contenders. with that said we have a non cup team vs. a cup. I believe Frosty will have all hands on deck for this game. If baker plays it as TIE i could see this being a trap game. Like with many games. I am going to pick Baker to win on the idea both teams play the same, but if Baker over looks this game then Frosty can and will win.

#7 NYC vs #7 UNC
This game should get a write because these two teams dont have wins but they actually play pretty hard and could be better than their records show. But i just can't spend time writing up a 7 vs 7. sorry.

Other game winners will be Marshland, Warhawk, Crosstown, and NYC

GS difference is too great. BucsBlue will beat me tonight. Fisher is at mediocre GS. Gonna get smashed. xD
