Rockguy, your team has gone through some changes over the past months. Nice job keeping your team competitive through all of it.

JHustle, welcome to the league! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Everybody, December has been a disappointing month for the Rogues. I'm in the middle of moving and haven't had any way to access the site except for an old cell phone, and that hasn't been an easy task. My record is what I expected, but the disappointment comes from training. I've had some difficulty setting lineups on the phone, and I've screwed up the training a couple weeks. Hoping to get back on a computer on a regular basis soon!

Merry Christmas to all!

Welcome, JHustle. The more active owners, the more fun the league!

Dangrel, I'll be in your shoes soon, I hope! House is for sale, trying to move.

Rock's team hasn't missed a beat. Although to be fair, nobody really expected him to fall of too far anyway. There's a reason he's always in the top half of the league.

Training is the tough one to figure out. When I started I searched and searched the forums. Everyone seems to have different opinions.

I started late season, like you. I would have actually preferred to be relegated, but my club was finishing fifth. Been a long grind building in such a competitive league.. But those draft picks are starting to pay off for me. Be patient. Have a plan. And stick to it! The seasons go by faster than you think!

if there's one thing I've learned over the past season since I've been really getting into training is if you're going to train your big guys try to train one position only... Its tricky especially if you have more than a couple of bigs. but with three games a week you should be able to get the right amount of minutes and that way train them for inside offense for center position and then the next week switch to inside defense for center one position... The reason I guess from what I'm understanding is that they will train much quicker under one position and the training will slow down if its more than two positions... Right now the moment I have a bunch of wing players that I am training 2 position such as shooting guard and small forward or wings position... It's a little bit slower process for my young guys but at least I'll have a couple of guys getting decent training by the end of season... Just go on the forums and ask and there's a few guys out there that are genuine cool in helping us out... Good luck to you man

I was asked the other day as to how come I got rid of my stud players... It's simple, they were all over 35 and very experienced and very very good I might add and could have probably contended for a championship this season... But every single week their skills were dropping way too much for me. so I kept my big guys even though a couple are well into their thirties and got me a couple of young superstars an outstanding small forward but I'm going to be missing all that outside firepower and harassing defense that I used to have... If I did have a chance to promoting I didn't want to go into division 3 with a bunch of older guys and no young young studs so this way I figure it might take a few more seasons but it's a cool feeling when you see your training efforts be put into play. take a look at Hawaii and maybe a couple of others in this group but I mention Hawaii because that's what it looks like he's done over the past several seasons and look at his record now... he has a very well balanced team. and on the flip side of all this no disrespect to the teams that load up on Veterans it's just a much funner saying now to develop guys see them win... Either way....keep on ballin and have some fun

Hawaii had all 5 starters in the All-Star Game, with four of them starting. Herman didn't make it this season, that was a surprise. Happy to see the Big 8 win one!

They put him on the PF ballot. He's started an equal amount of games this season as a PF and SF, but maybe they went with PF because those starts have been more recent? I'm not sure. Glad we won though!
